Settling in Sessions
It’s so important to get to know who will be helping to care for your toddler! Mum, Dad and baby will need time to adjust and get comfortable - why not come along for a settling in session?
At your settling in session, Toybox’s team will give you and your little ones time to get to know the nursery. To help make your child’s time at the nursery more comfortable and enjoyable, why not bring along their favourite comforter?
This will also be a good opportunity to discuss any routines or specific ways in which the nursery can help your child get more comfortable.
Supporting Parents Returning to Work
Heading back to work after maternity or paternity leave is never easy. You’ll need complete assurance that your chosen nursery will care for your son or daughter when you can’t be there for them.
Toybox’s qualified team provides warm, friendly support to new Mums and Dads. It’s vital to have someone to talk to - and the secure nursery webcam stream from our Wakefield nursery is just one brilliant way in which you can always keep in touch!

Kids of all ages love a good day out! Toybox provides safe adventures for youngsters to local play parks, museums and even the theatre!
Toybox Private Nursery adheres to guidelines set by the Early Years Foundation Stage, or EYFS. These are standards set by the government to help ensure young children get the help and guidance they need to learn and develop.
The nursery carefully monitors and assesses children at each point of EYFS. If you’d like to learn more, full guidance is available from the government.

Graduation
Leaving nursery can be a difficult time for any child - especially if they’ve been attending since they were a baby.
Toybox aims to make ‘graduation’ from nursery to ‘big school’ a lot of fun. We arrange special trips, visits and games to enjoy together. New teachers even come to say hello - so that when our graduates move onto Primary School, they are all the more comfortable.
You’ll even have the chance to take photos of your little ones in their own miniature caps and gowns - a wonderful memory to cherish!
